Damn 8 legged motherfvcker had to go and bite me last night while I was cleaning out the garage. Didn't even know he/she was on my arm until it was too late. Thanks a lot you little bastard. THANKS A LOT!! I just love this tiny version of Mount Vesuvius that is now on my right forearm.

I had a spider bite once. A circular area with radius of about 1.5 inches around the bite turned black, and a few days later all the skin peeled off. Its fine now, not even a good scar to prove that it really happened.

YES, hence the stain on my undies when I saw it crawling at the end of the bed, luckly it fell off on to the ground and I was able to kill it with my air rifle, fvck it was big

This one looked at first like a recluse after I swatted it off my arm, but after I squished it into goo it was a bit hard to tell. ;) Don't think it was though since the bite area doesn't look like one of their bites. Of course I could just be one of those lucky people that aren't highly affecte4d by their bites. Who knows? I just know it looks nasty.

do you guys get white tail spiders in the US?, one bite from them and you get to have your arm or leg rot off over the course of a few years, it's bite is generally on curable by surgery to remove the affected area, we get heaps of them over here, I usually kill 4 or 5 a day...bloody things

I can't believe guns are illegal in Australia with things like that running around.

Is there anything in Australia that can't kill you or rot an appendage off from just one bite?

I had a spider bite my eyelid when I was younger. I couldn't open my eye for a few days. Looked odd walking around with one closed eye.

wrong, the mythbusters guy's tried this theory and proved it wrong, the venom from a daddy long legs is a really weak version of the black widow's venom, it causes a bit of itching but no real effects
