Spicy foods can kill cancer cells

"This research does not suggest that eating vast quantities of chilli pepper will help prevent or treat cancer.
no, but a year or two ago one did, iirc. for prostate cancer, at least. you have to eat several jalapeños each day to see benefits.

i didnt get a chance to read teh article, but i wonder if there is some correlation between higher incidence of cancer in the west, where the food doesnt tend to be as spicy as asia. not really sure about africa or south america.

I know a shot glass full of Tabasco sauce is great for a cold/flu. Once you get past the need to vomit your guts out you feel great! 😀

If capsaicin kills the mitochondria in cancer cells...isn't it equally reasonable to assume that it could kill mitochondria in normal cells?

they tested that. it didn't. the mitochondria are different.

and taco bell has so little capsaicin in it that you're probably more likely to get cancer by eating that sludge
