i don't like it.

i bought Project Gotham racing 2 for 50 bucks at walmart...
Everyone seemed to like it and the reviews were good... but i guess I'm not just into racing games. I've never liked them... and this game is no exception. All the different cars are cool and all... but earning little "kudos" racing around a circuit isn't fun to me.

can I return this for something else? The game blows.. I would rather get a sports game or KOTOR.

my walmart doesnt have kotor though.. which sucks. D*MN it... all i wanted to do tonight is relax and play a really fun game.

They won't let you return it :(. No retail places accept returns on anything that can be copied (games, music, movies) unless it's defective, in which case they let you exchange it for the same item only. Obviously to foil those who'd buy it, copy it, and return it. You may be able to get rid of it in FS/T though.

Sorry to hear that. Like they said, most retail stores won't let you return a game and get credit. They will only let you exchange it for the same item.

You will be able to get a good chunk of your $ back on FS/FT though. It couldn't hurt to try!

out of all the games i bought...

NFL2k3, NBA2k3, NBA street vol. 2, and PGR2

i paid about $30 for nba2k3, about $50 each for PGR2 and NBA street 2

I played less than 1 hour on PGR2 and NBA street... WASTED money :| , you know which game i play the most ?

NFL2k3 that i bought used for 8 bucks.

Act computer illiterate.

Tell them you didn't realize that it is a PC-only game and you have a Mac at home.

Whine at the manager. They might take it back.

Then, use the money at a different store. If they give you store credit, wait for a while before buying your new game or buy some other stuff you need there, allowing you to use other money at a different store.

*Random, totally irrelevant, disgressing, thought* There was this Penny Arcade cartoon where the guy comes in to return a game, gets denied, then comes back disguised as a old man exchanges it for a new game. Then comes back again as an old man and returns the sealed game. *

Hmm..I'm sorry, what's your problem?

Did your Walmart had plenty of PGR2s in stock? If you got the last one, and tell them that disc is defective, then they might let you get another game since they don't have a working one.

Places like EB and Gamestop used to have a 7 day return policy, but that may have changed. Naturally it was abused like crazy.

I'm pretty sure this game is XBox only, so you'd have to act even dumber: Console illiterate.
