Hey. I'm 16, and living with my mother. Seeing as my parents were recently divorced, i dont want to continually ask for money etc even though i really do need it sometimes. Getting a job is not really an option (not allowed), seeing as I'm in the 10th grade was wondering, does anyone here make any extra spending money, without having a job? ie ebay etc.

Um, ask for money, if they say no, then say I'm going to work, and if they say no, then say give me money.

that said, have fun! some people really can make money off ebay- go for it. buy low, sell high.
 
Judging from that name he lives in Quebec and he's 16, he's close enough to legal drinking age.

First of all, stop being a pussy, and get a job. Why the hell not? Ignore your parents requests. Why on earth would you not be able to work? School? You don't get enough homework to do anyway, so why in the hell would your parents not want you to have a job. Tell them to make a choice, give you weekly allowance, or let you get a job. Speak up, tell them to put themselves in your position. I think that is horrible, I would talk to your counselor, or a teacher, and see if the can talk your parents into letting you get a job. What is the worst that could happen? You could always stop working if it doesn't work out. I hate stupid parents.
