Happy Birthday

It sucks to be alone for your b-day.
Try and do something you enjoy and don't worry about it too much.
And like someone mentioned maybe some party on an upcoming weekend on something when everyone's around.

Myself I turn 19 in 2 days but I have no plans at all either. :( And I doubt anyone else does either. Like you, everyone forgets my bday. Oh well

I had a final for a class on my last birthday, and a final the next day as well. Every year finals week hits during my birthday. It's to the point where I don't look forward to it at all. Sucks to spend your birthday alone, but it sucks even more to spend it alone in the library studying.

Yep, my dad forgot it was my birthday too. Even when he lives at home with all of us, he still forgets. To this point, he still doesn't even have a single clue it's my birthday. =P

Happy Birthday lyric! Today might not be what you expected, but you have 364 days left. When I think people have forgotten something like that, I just plan my own party. That way it won't be done wrong and everyone gets an instant reminder (plus, they feel guilt=bigger presents!)

I know how that feels. I live away from home, so I usually spend my birthday alone. Sometimes it feels bad, but usually it doesn't. And besides, this time my girlfriend insists on having a small party, just me and her :). God I love that girl! The best thing that has ever happened to me :)!

In fact, my birthday is only a bit over week away :)!

Happy early birthday to you, Nemesis77!! I hope you have a great birthday. It must be awesome to be able to spend your birthday with someone special. =) I'm in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend right now. I'm living in CA while he's in NY.

Anyway, take care. =)

Thanks :)!

Most of the time me and my girlfriend have a long-distance relationship too. I work/study in Helsinki, while she studies in northern Finland. Oh well, love shall prevail :).

Lyric, you should go get your driver's license! That'll definitely make your day!! :D

And Happy B-day! 16 is definitely a good age to be -- I wish I were that young, still. No reason to wallow in misery. You have every reason to be happy!

Thanks kbm5!! Unfortunately, I can't get my license till I'm 18. It's a family rule. My parents are afraid that I'm gonna drive off with the car and never come back home. They sure have an imagination, don't they? =P

Happy friggin birthday, its not the end of the world. I know when you are young you think the world revolves around yourself and this is horrible but its not that bad.

Actually, you pretty much got that wrong. I do not thing that the world revolves around myself. I am not that egotistical and stuck up, thank you very much.

Reason why I am a little disappointed is because I'm stuck alone on a day I wish I could celebrate with my family and friends. I am not one that needs to be around every one all the time. My family is usually pretty busy with work and such, so I don't get to see them too often. Maybe two or three hours a day at most. Wouldn't you want to be with your family every once in a while? The fact is that I don't give a freaking crap about getting gifts, having a party thrown for me, etc. Like I said, I just wish my loved ones are around.
