Spend $240 on console games this holiday

If you had $240 to spend solely on console games coming out this holiday (no later than end of 2014), what games would you buy?

For me it's Far Cry 4, GTA V, Madden 15, Destiny. :awe:

This is tough. I'll definitely get Halo: The Master Chief Collection and either NBA 2K15 or Forza Horizon 2 before the holiday season, then I'll probably ask for Sunset Overdrive and the second of NBA and Forza as Christmas gifts (since I won't have time to play all 4 in October/November). Those are the four late-year games I want, with a few being possible purchases at lower prices (Evolve, The Crew, The Evil Within).

as for me, I'll be waiting for the GOTY edition with DLC included aka "the full game" for $9.99 LOL

Thankfully, I don't have to include Fifa 14 in this because it comes out before holiday season!

Madden 15 and Destiny are the only ones I am looking at. I will probably grab the disc version of Ultra SF4, just for the costumes.

Unless I was buying a new console, or there was some stupendous sale, I can't imagine spending $240 on 3-4 games at once. Not because I can't afford it, but because of sense.

If I had to spend $240..

Destiny
Drive Club
The Evil Within
Project CARS

Though in all likelihood, I'll get Destiny and Project CARS, play the free Drive Club for a while, and pick up The Evil Within when it hits under $30. Madden 15 may make the list.. but only if its a vast improvement over 14, which it won't be.

Most of the time I can get a game the week it comes out for $40, that's how I'll get NBA 2k15 and Madden 15, I already paid off GTA 5 and LBP3

I like games...sue me

Hey, don't we all. Unless you are playing all those games at the same time and finish them all at the same time does it make sense to buy all those games at the same time at regular price? I realize you are kind of on the extreme end here, as with a few others, so I mean whatever trips your trigger, no judgement here. I was just pointing out there is no rush to buy 4 games at once because there is no such thing as shortage of availability.

Since the subject around the holidays is really what was asked, chances are you could get many more than 4 games given a good sale, in which case, sure I get it, but if we're talking retail, eh...I just have too many hobbies. Maybe it's because I grew up renting more games than I ever bought, I don't know but there are few games I've ever played that I felt were worth their MSRP.
