spell check

No, I'm not asking for one (I don't need it). But I stumbled upon one at webattack.com, maybe it could be of use to the many who desire a spellcheck for the forums (and those who should want one).

According to the spellchecker in Microsoft Word, spellcheck isn't spelled correctly. Spell check, spell-check, spellchecker, and spellchecked are all possible correct variations. 😛

And MS Word is of course always right. 🙂

Technically one could say that "spellcheck" as I used it is improper, that it's a verb and that the noun would be spellchecker. I can spell, but I make up words sometimes. 🙂

I just discovered that it's impossible to tab into the text input area of the reply page.

Oh, and that'd be the grammar checker in Word, since if "spellchecked" is a word, then "spellcheck" is actually a valid verb and it was my usage that was incorrect.

Oops, it is the grammer that is incorrect. My bad. But for consistency purposes, you have it spelled 2 ways in your first post. 😀

But not necessarily used in the same way so the spelling doesn't have to be the same. 🙂 But the title would be the wrong usage, since it can only be read as a command to verbalize the letters that make up the word. So I guess I lose. My sentence is to shovel half a ton of snow off the walk.

Glad to see you back LE!

I also agree that a (whatever one would call an automated tool for checking spelling) would be a welcome addition.

WB LE 🙂

A spellchecker feature would be cool. I almost never spellcheck my post unless it is what I concider an important post. Other than that, who cares. But if there were a button, it would be cool. Of course, "teh" and other stupid words would have to be added 😛

You have "important" posts? Go figure.
