Must be the same people that swapped peoples heads and bodies so all the faces would similarly centered in the pictures. It's just simple common sense to not spell check proper names. They seriously need to up the standards for employees at these places.

lol, free stickers? I wonder how much those books ran. $80? $100?

We got stickers and inserts every year back when I was in high school. Our year books were $75. One year it was so bad that half of the graphics looked like blown up thumbnails instead of the actual graphics, other pages were missing the graphics entirely. Fucking rip.

Um, what?

The town I graduated from would have sued the shit out of a publisher for doing something like this.

S'abit odd that only 4 pages were affected, though.

Stickers??? Oh well, at least, being high school graduates, they ought to be able to handle a sticker book! ;)

1. I'm guessing the contract between the school and the yearbook company stipulated the remedy for mistakes
2. They send proofs of the pages as they will be printed, so it's ultimately up to the editor to verify that everything is correct.

I remember working on my HS yearbook. It was a pain to make sure everyone's name was perfect.

Oh and our books cost about $110 to make but we sold them for $75-$85 because advertisements in the back of the book lowered the cost.

DUN DUN DUN DAHHHHHHH!!!

I AM......MAX SUPERNOVA!!!!!!!

That kid won't sticker over his name.

But seriously....STICKERS???

I would force them to redo all the books for their incompetence. You DO NOT run spell check on names. Hell....as a publishing company I wouldn't spell check jack shit. If the client didn't fucking spell shit correctly, then that's their fault. I'd print whatever they sent and charge them for their stupidity.

Kathy Airbag is the pits though. :p

Especially when Kathy Hosebag is MUCH cooler...(and with high schoolers being the way they are...maybe more accurate...;)
