i am trying to set up dsl service with this modem and I can't seem to get it to work. the enet seems to detect ok (the green light is steady, occasionally blinking) but the dsl light (phone jack) blinks amber. it seems to not "realize" that it is plugged into the phone jack, but I cant be sure. anybody have the manual or know off the top of their head how to tell from the lights whether it has detected the dsl/phone connection? Thanks.

Is this the first time you've used DSL?

It sounds like the modem isn't syncing with the phone line properly. I would guess it's an issue with your lines rather than your modem, unless you've had better success with another modem. Do you have all of your filters installed?
