I've been tweaking my Win2k install and found that it is alot more responsive after applying some tweakage to it. I've done most of the tips on the following linkhttp://www.ars-technica.com/tweak/nt/index.html Specifically, the L2 cache, large system cache, disk I/O. Windows file Protection wouldn't let me fool with the subsystem files(OS2.exe.etc.)it kept changing them back:D My system does seem snappier now, before it didn't quite feel like a PIII733 w/ 256mb ram.

The L2 cache value was listed as 0 in brackets like this(0)on my machine with a PIII coppermine. I changed it to 256,so it looks like this(256). It seems to me Win2k didn't get it right on my system.
