LOL. Yea, the sixth reply was one, but otherwise it's been eerily quiet!

Ooooooo, 80 in a 65. Like that doesn't happen DAILY. 😀

For the billionth time: GET A LAWYER. It will cost less than the ticket will in the long run. In Florida, they have five million law firms that guarantee no points on your license. I am sure Ca has the same kinda setup. I have been stopped for speeding more than 10 times...and have not paid for a single ticket. No school. No fines. No "probation". I never had to show up in court. Just get a lawer.

Oh, and use the "search" feature here, you will get all the info you will need on a topic that has been discussed 10 billion times in ATOT.

<< Little known factoid on the topic: Some of you know this, but Park Rangers can give traffic citations too... >>

In the state park near my house there are only two rangers that can give tickets. I know one of them very well, id oubt he'd give me a ticket unless it was one of those times i was in a "fast" mode🙂

Well at least you weren't drag racing like my buddy. He got busted for 117 MPH in a 45 MPH. He ran at first, hit the freeway, but then the cops got him after like around 10 miles on the freeway. They locked him up overnight until his bond of like $150 could be posted and I fronted him $100 to get his car out of impound. The bad part is that he was driving on a suspended license when he got pulled over, so that'll rack up some tickets and lawyer fees. Words of advice... either a) buy a radar detector or b) slow down. I highly recommend the second because bacon don't like no radar detector.

You broke the speeding law. Pay the fine and learn your lesson. Next time you speed keep an eye on the rear view mirror so a cop can't catch you.

you can't just do 80 and not looking for cops. If you are speeding always pay attention to your rear mirror!!
