If you get a speeding ticket it is best to go to court and plead guilty, or just pay the ticket through the mail?

If you choose court and plead guilty you will get to pay your ticket + court costs.

Not to mention I think the whole court room will be held in contempt for uncontrollable laughter.

Pay the $100 for a ticket clinic. The important thing is the points, not so much the cost.

If you do go to court plead no contest and beg for court mandated driving school. If the court sentences it, it doesn't count against your life-time elections.

Most judges are not requiring the officer to be present for a speeding violation.
