ok yes i know this was reckless etc, but my friend convinced me to drive my new car to vegas even with the threat of rocks, and i wanted to see what it could do.

and well i was driving much faster than that earlier. the whole weekend was pretty reckless gambling in general, just a reckless weekend. but well regardless of that i dont want my insurance to get screwed.

and yes i know some of you guys are going to say i endagered lives etc, but i bet most of you would have driven fast given the same car and no cars on the road as well.

so...you going to tell us what type of car?

g35, cant drive fast in LA, too much traffic.

I've driven a G35 with no traffic in a 70 zone and I did not get even close to 104. Yes, it is a very fun car to drive, but I wouldn't even think of going that fast. Of course, it's my dad's car too.

Holy sh!t is that expensive. In Illinois 91 in a 65 is only $95. 20-30 over is only $95, then it starts to get crazy.

they'll find you. i got a traffic ticket once with a rental car while in los angeles, then returned to new york. i figured i could ignore it. 3 months later i get the $30 ticket in the mail.

most of the dmv's coopperate with other states these days.
if you don't take care of it what will most likely happen is that when you go in to renew your drivers liscence it will be flagged and you will not be able to re-new untill this ticket is taken care of.

I wont tell you not to speed. If "Blood on the Highway" didnt teach you, some nut on the internet wont change your mind.
Am pretty sure CA outlawed radar detectors. Specifically becuase of guys like you.

But I think its BS. The FCC says I cant radiate energy for personal use, but they never said anything about listening to / detecting energy.
I dont think a state should have that power.

As others have said. Some states have deal's with other states so they share information. And I'm pretty sure Cali is one that has a deal made with all the states surrounding it. A lot of states talk to other states, but even when they're supposed to, it doesnt always happen. Sometimes you get lucky.

Give a call to the courts where the ticket has assigned you to. Look into having the ticket transfered to your local court. Some states/municipalities do it, some don't. The only thing you have to worry about is that when you transfer it, you don't transfer the possiblities of traffic schooling from the other state.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
