Speedfan, what on earth do these readings mean!

I'm going nuts, for 2 weeks now i have tried to understand the readings that speedfan is giving me.

Remote Temp: 44C
Local Temp: 31C
Temp 1: 34C
Temp 2: 32C
Temp 3: 29C
HD: 28C

I know the remote is CPU cause its the hottest and gets to about 53 under load, and of course HD is my hard drive. But can someone please tell me what Temp1,2,3 are??

Thank you very much, i would have downloaded it alot sooner than this if i knew what it was. Thank you

Speedfan is a really great program to maintain and monitor your computer temperatures. I have it configured so that if my CPU temp is under 40c, the fans go at their lowest speed. I also have it configured based on harddrive temps too.

As for the settings, that's something you have to explore. You also need to figure out which reading is what. Deduce which temp reading belongs to which part of the computer. I usually use SETI or Prime95 to make the cpu temp go up, and then I know which one is the cpu. =) It's a great program once you figure it out.

However, if you're just looking for a simple temperature monitor program, then something programmed for your motherboard is probably easiest.
