Speedfan readings

Hi guys,

I just built my first comp 🙂

I am currently installing new drivers etc. and just installed speedfan.

I ran the program, and the display is:

temp1 25
temp2 31
temp3 -48
temp1 125
temp2 125
temp3 0
temp 125
temp 125
local temp 40

What does this mean? I'm kind of startled by the 125 degrees, but I'm not sure what those numbers mean. I also ran asus probe, and the temps are 30 degrees for cpu and 25 degrees for mobo.

Thanks guys

Andy

Read the Speedfan help files....they explain everything very well. The 125c readings are the default for an unknown or missing sensor. Get a prog like CPUBurn.....run it and see what temp goes up fastest...that's the CPU. You can figure the board temp is usually in the 40's....goes up slightly under load.
