wut i need help with is wut does the Temp pertain to. (the one that is 127C) i know its wrong but i just want to know wut it is. i also need to know wut the remote and Local temps pertain to as well. Also the volatges are not exactly good either but idk if this is just a mistake or if my voltages are really like this. i highly doubt they are right but i jsut want to make sure.

This is wut i kow:
Temp1- CPU
Temp2- Chipset
Temp3- Power area
HD0- Is my hdd
Core- is my cpu core

You need to use the plain URL here. Best to learn how to use the http button on the main post editing screen to proxy your links or learn the syntax and just type in the proxy yourself.

My god, you need to reboot and go into your BIOS setup to see what it says there. That is WAY TOO HIGH for anything to last very long. Let's hope that SF is trying to read a port that actually isn't being used on your system or something else that is being wrongly interpreted. That's why it's usually better to get a feel for your readings with your mobo mfr's monitor program. As you are probably getting all "het" up over nothing...

The one that says "Temp 126 deg.C" is way too high unless you're using a steam engine for power in your PC - and kindly save the juvy lingo for the gaming forums and phone texting with your group, thanks... :roll:

Thats normal for early Intel P4.. mine is in the 120s under load for last 4 years.

btw covert24..WHAT, not wut. Is it so hard to use what vs wut? /rollseyes.

Guys,
128 = 2^7.

When a sensor is nonexistent or is not used, you often get meaningless temperatures reported.
In such cases, you often get 127 or 128 reported as the temperature because it is what 8 zeros (one byte) or 8 ones gets translated to.

I would just ignore the 127 reported temperature. However, you need to confirm my speculation. To do that, use the utility that came with your motherboard. Or use this.

Edit:
You need a multimeter to measure your voltages if you want. The sensors on the motherboard are not accurate enough for measuring voltages.

sry guys, being that im not in english class (at least i hope not) ill kindly talk to how i want. Thanks for your input....

and Naivd, Thank You for your help suicne that explains everything for me. my temps are fine and good in bios so i know its not right. Im probably going to get a new PSu since this one has been running hot and i see random restarts from time to time and everything else is in working order so yea. thanks for all your help guys.
