Speedfan Help

I'm hanging my hat on speedfan for o/c purposes, since it's the only one of the major temperature aps I've been able to get working on my Vista 64 system (G0 6600, Ultra 120, Gigabyte P35, 2g 4-4-4-12 ram)

The new version seems to have fixed the +15 degrees thing (for me anyway, my idle temps are around 40, which seems ok).

However, can somebody explain to me how the hell you make sense of the speedfan readings? I get given a total of 7 readings for temperature, and I have no idea which ones relate to my cores, and which relate to my other bits (whatever they may be).

Does anybody have any advice? Am I just being thick?

Temperature designations can vary so they need to be identified. When stress testing Tcase comes closest in temperature to core/s, chipset is next highest and motherboard is the coolest.

If you have software that came w/ your board, you can see which readings scale with Speedfan's readings and edit Speedfan's labels as appropriate. Worked like a charm w/ mine.
