Speed Problem

I think there is something wrong with my computer or I just can't figure out something.

In quake 3 at 1280x1024 with everything maxed out I only get about 110fps on Demo 4. I have aniso off and I have vsync turned off. I even have my video card overclocked to 210/460

In 3dmark I only get 6566 marks at the default settings.

I have all the latest drivers installed, running dets 29.42, don't bother suggesting switching them because I've had the same results with past ones.

And yes I have AA turned off.

Heres my rig

AMD 1900
Gigabyte GA-7VTXE+
512mb DDR
Geforce 3 TI 200 (210/460)
SB Audigy Gamer
Win 98 SE
350 Watt PSU
40gb Maxtor 7200 RPM

...yadda yadda.....

Anyone care to try and help me figure this one out??

You should try overclocking that card more, My Ti200 hits 240/544 stable.

I'm sure you will at least get 225/500.

Yeah that is a little low in 3dmark. I have a 1600+ on an epox 8k7a w/256mb pc-2100 XP Pro and an MSI geforce3 ti200 128mb and I get around 6800 with 4x aniso on and 4700 with 4x aniso and quincunx.

Well I dunno about the vsync issue, I got it turned off but it's still a little screwy. Oh and I benched it at quin AA and I only got 50.9 fps average. Something is terribly wrong.

As for the overlocking, should my card at STOCK speeds get way faster results than what I am getting?

I installed the latest VIA drivers, didn't seem to do anything.

This is very frustrating.
