Speed of 2500+ using higher multipliers?

I have an early revision Epox 8RDA board that doesn't like anything over 183 FSB. Currently, I am running a locked 2500+ at 11x183 at default voltage. I feel like the chip could easily hit 200 FSB, but I know it's the board that's holding me back.

I really like the board, and really don't care about upgrading board right now. However, I am considering getting an unlocked 2500+ that does 200x11 at default voltage.

Since my max FSB is 183, what's the higest multiplier I could expect to run? 12, 12.5 maybe?

183*12.5 doesn't seem unreasonable. what cooling setup are you using? that will probably be the limiting factor if you do end up getting the unlocked barton

I've got a Thermaltake Silent Boost (all copper, similar to the SLK series) with a Panaflow L1A, so I don't think cooling will be an issue. :)

Instead of wasting money on an unlocked Barton 2500. Go .here and do the wire trick and it will unlock all the multipliers up to 12.5

The wire trick doesn't work on the newer Bartons that come locked from the factory.
