Personally, I just my cruise control at the speed limit whenever I'm on the highway. It saves gas and the aggravation of dealing with passing, packs of cars, tickets, and etc. Works fine for me; however, most of my passengers hate it.
I saw part of a special on the Autobahn the other day... we need to take a few pages out of the German's book.
Autobahn is twice as thick as US roads at 27 inches.
If a crack develops the entire section is replaced.
German's have to pay up to $2500 to get their license at age 18 and are required to take driver's training class.
Germany has a keep right law. If you aren't passing someone, then keep right. There is no passing on the right. If someone is coming up behind you in the left lane faster than you are going then move over.
