No speed bump for me, I'm on Time Warner.

But then again we Time Warner costumers aren't interested in faster speeds.

Still at 21 down and 6 up but I am in Floriduh!

Ill try disconnecting the modem but I doubt an increase will happen.

edit: Yeah, no.

It's so freaking annoying my download is constantly slower than my upload.

You've got some slow-assed internet there, son...

(though my latency is higher than usual today...)

Have I mentioned recently you should both diaf?

Do you find many, or even any, sites that will send at that speed outside of the speed test?

I've been on Comcast since October 2012, and was on the 12MB plan at that time. It was only $35/mo., so it was a much better plan than our previous Verizon DSL 3mb plan. That was just atrocious. Speed of the Comcast connex at that time:

I checked our speed only once since moving to Comcast, so that test was the first week we had it. Fast forward to today, and things were a bit laggy on the net, so I decided to run another test, only to see these numbers pop up:

Whoa ! I received no email, but then again we don't actually HAVE email set up via Comcast. We retained our Verizon email address for $20/yr., so I have never logged in to Xfinity to check on any plan changes.

I read this thread now, so it appears that many are getting a significant boost as of yesterday.

If your area is currently included in the speed bump for Blast and Extreme 105, go to comcast.com/powercycle. A list of compatible modems is at mydeviceinfo.comcast.net

Gig would be awesome, provided they actually allow servers, otherwise it would be kind of poinless other than bragging rights. Would be so awesome to get that though.
