Question Speculation: RDNA2 + CDNA Architectures thread

This place is full of people repeating themselves to infinity and beyond.

There's really no need to be pissed about one of them unless what's triggering you is the message itself.
I don't have a problem with Glo., even this message or similar ones wouldn't be such a problem for me, If It was not repeatedly used when someone says something which is not in line with their views. I care about speculation and leaks, not useless sarcasm, which doesn't bring anything useful to the discussion.

And what If I agree with your views on Firestrike Ultra? 😉

What If I, myself consider it to be outdated, and not - real world gaming benchmark? 😉

Have you thought that I was simply making fun of this whole launch, and leaks?

28th can't come soon enough! I'd imagine the days will mysteriously slow down the closer we get to the 28th. The announcement should be enlightening at least. Odds of AMD getting a double crown this year? Would make for some really good PR and would pay to see JHH's reaction if so!
I read, somewhere, that independent reviews won't be out till Nov 5th. If that's true, then I'm getting a bit sick of the dog and pony shows before release. Does everyone think they are Apple?

The announcement should at least clear up some of the confusion. As far as performance goes you'll want to wait for independent review, but I doubt AMD will get up on stage and stretch the truth beyond reality. Not sure when independent reviews will drop. Wasn't Nov 5th for Zen 3's reviews and availability?

This goes both ways though, people were actively pressuring AMD to release more info on both Zen 3 and RDNA2. It went so far as to presume they have no proper answer to Ampere based on lack of reaction.

On this forum Apple was also used as an example of how Nvidia should have built inventory for Ampere before launch.

Double crown?

In GPU Efficiency? Sure, I can believe that AMD will have more efficient architecture. But performance? Thats way tougher.

"The Game Clock depends HEAVILY on the workload."

What's this? Just like the Playstation 5?
"It'll be as fast as the game/you demands/wants"?
Yes, you see, RDNA2, unlike Zen 2/Zen 3 CPUs can clock up to 5 GHz, hence why AMD had to put the artificial 2.4 GHz limit on those GPUs.

On a serious note, I believe that is how already RDNA1 GPU clock behaved.

Double crown = trumping Intel's gaming dominance and Nvidia's for the record....The way I meant it.

It's pretty much unthinkable that they'd pull off a double whammy in the same year, but it's not like 2020 has stayed true to the norm.

The internet forums and article comment sections would go heavily into rage mode!

I knew perfectly well what you meant, just made a Thought Shortcut.

Of course. AMD winning in both: CPU and GPU world are not out of the equation, and it has absolutely nothing to do with the year we are in 😉. I'd love to see that happen. Good story of a Tech Underdog kicking butts of Tech Giants.
