Does anyone have any sale/offer codes to lower the price on one of these laptops? They are sweet, but pricey!

IBM doesn't do coupon codes to my knowledge. You need a friend with access to Employee Purchase Program, Stockholders Purchase Program, or the Mastercard/Visa/AMEX purchase program.

What kind of savings will the Stockholders' Purchase Program net you? I can't seem to find it on their website.

Shareholders get 10-15 percent. You might also try thinkpads.com - the host of that site is an authorized Thinkpad reseller and has good pricing.

This is the wrong place for TP questions. True a few fan girls hang out here but you'll get 10000 times more useful information on Bill's web site.

Can't find it now but someplace in there is a FAQ on all the discounts.

Do a search on the chuby wallet for IBM or thinkpads. Every once in a while IBM or a 3rd party has them for a decent price.

Also get a friend at IBM

The discount is 35% off regular models and 20% off express models.

Or go to school! Most of the EDU discounts are terrible but once in a while some school somewhere gets something decent.
