some type of personel carrier, bradleys maybe? dunno havent seen any that have a hatch on the back instead of a drop ramp. well maybe it does drop but looks like a door. pretty impressive haul for some trains.

There was a thread at fark about this. It was concluded that there are older vehicles going in for upgrades and new paint.

If it is a delivery for Mr. Laden, it sure as hell ain't Express, not with only two engines pulling that train... looks like about a brigade's worth of vehicles there, M2 Bradley AFV's (Armored Fighting Vehicles). They're not "older vehicles" by any stretch, they're the current inventory for mechanized infantry. And generally, you bring the paint to the tank, not the tank to the paint, and sure as heck not 90+ tanks...

damn, didnt know it was a repost :( that was just a few days ago too. yeah we have 2 army depots right outside of town. one makes ammunition, the other does work on heavy vehicles. it's incredible what they do out at the vehicle one. they repair/upgrade tanks and other heavy stuff (not hummers or other light stuff). they have a proving ground they use to test tanks once they are done, it's crazy. banked walls, rivers, the works.

they used to blow up ammunition once it got so old. was weird when it was all quite in the afternoon for it to be broken by a huge explosion, enough to rattle windows and the thing is like 15 miles away. ive seen the trains pull tanks and stuff in but nothing on the scale of what's in those pics.
