I had a close call a couple of days ago,and 1 about 6 months ago, which left me a little leary of left turns and backing up.About a week ago I witnessed a hit and run accident between a compact and a
Limo, the limo ran the red.Because I was two cars back I didnt see his plate(Should have followed him)I thought here I was in the left turn lane and if there was no cars in front of me it could have been me!
I certainly hope this feeling goes away!

It goes away with time:(

Sometimes it takes a long time to get your confidence back, but you will get it back:)

BTW, nice to see you post in OT again.

There's a little saying my flight instructor told me that also applies to driving--you have a luck bucket and an experience bucket. Your job is to fill the experience bucket before the luck bucket runs out.

Another one, sorta related, I hope. My dad told me they taught him this one in air traffic control school: Never bet on the curve, you lose everytime. Works for me anyways. I'm only 21 and I jst got a license, but I see all these kids pulling out and taking dumb chances while I'll always hang back and wait until I KNOW it's safe.
Okay, my story aside, I don't think I've ever seen a Jokersmoker post in OT. Lotsa good stuff in hot deals though. Thanks for the good finds JS!
