I won a gorgous LCD TV,only problem is it's black casing didn't look quite right on our existing silver stand,the PS3 wouldn't fit in either.I buy a nice looking black and glass stand,nice open design!

I have it all together except for the final screws holding the backboard...but do you think the idiots at the factory remembered to put holes for the screws in the backboard of this thing?

arghhh!!!
 
Is the "backboard" just a thick heavy piece of cardboard, or is it actually a peice of wood?

it's that paritical board crap... with the cutouts for cabling.I thought at first the holes might have been painted over but no such luck..

yeah,hubby got all the cabling,hooked up the surround and all the other goodies and has been ordering blu ray films from netflix,it's a sweet setup.I got him the blu ray remote for the PS3 this week too so he's happy.

THANKS. I just wasted like 2 hours going through the various DIY amp designs that I've been considering, and now I think I'm going to rebuild my amp rack with aluminum extrusions.

Curse you...and your completely unintentional use of "DIY". 😛
