Someone at work needs to send out emails in chinese (we use outlook/exchange).. um, how would i go about this? and will i need a special keyboard or is there a fontpack that's standard in china/hongkong? kinda thrown at me and i have to figure out what to do..

Go to microsoft's web site and download the Chinese IME.
That lets you input characters phonetically and works pretty well.

My mom uses the Japanese IME and it works great even with Kanji.

unless you can type in chinese i don't think it'll work with the nspecial chinese keyboard. its not easy😛

but i'm sure theres some special software out ther ethat makes it easier. or simple translation software might work for some basic chinese.

as for fonts, thats easy, install the ones for windows. or install nj star. \\\if u can write in chinese, a pen /tablet solution mightwork. u need software of ocurse.

Or you could use njstar, as most asians use that, without putting up with the installed unicode crap.
