why is it they don't "allow" lefty infielders (except for the 1B) ? Ok, maybe I can understand the middle infielders because of adjusting your throwing position, but why never the 3rd baseman ?
Picture yourself as a righty from 1st base throwing to 3rd base. It isn't really all that awkward.
So when does this "rule" get enforced ? Little leagues ? "If you throw lefty, you can't play the infield except 1B..."
EDIT>>> ok, maybe lefty 3Bs would have a hard time charging bunts and throwing to 1st... I guess I've just been thinking out loud...
