i live here in the philippines & the choices for
pc hardware is quite limited. i'm trying to replace
my current speakers ACS-56, and I've narrowed
my choices down to the Altec Lansing 4100 or
Creative Inspire 5.1.

my budget is quite tight and some of the speakers
in the same price range i've read is not yet available
here...
 
Nats, both brands are very good, but from personal experience, I've always been happy w/ Creative speakers. The best way to make your decision would be to try and listen to them then make up your mind. Going on specs alone isn't the "best" way to choose speakers. Hope this helps 🙂
