I have a Asus A8V-E Deluxe and a Realtek AC97 Audio PCI, and my friend said, "your motherboard has onboard sound".

So I guess I have onboard.

Is your friend there? I'm sure he could tell you how to do this in like 5 seconds.

What have you been using up until this point? Do you have anything that fits in the onboard sound output from your motherboard? If you have something that does, make sure it fits into the input on your JVC too.

If it fits into the Aux input, then you just need something like this with two male ends.

My iPod headphones fit into the AUX and onboard soundports.

Good, then a male/male 1/8" cable should work. You'll also be able to plug in your ipod to the speakers with that too.

This one right?

So I guess we're finally done, thanks a bunch.

Yes, or whatever length you need. If you get it from cablesforless make sure you look through all the shipping options.

You can also get one of these at radioshack and stores like that.

It's sometimes called 3.5mm instead of 1/8"

You want a
3.5mm male/male cable
or
1/8" male/male cable

(oh, and stereo... like these ones, not mono)

Thanks again.

No problem.

Make sure you don't pay too much. Don't bother with gold plated etc. Just get something really cheap.
