LOL the sales rep for the Brick and mortar store that i mention earlier just told me the price for the center channel that is the step up $1200.

So now I am afraid I will have to move to a different brand of speakers.

They have the same speaker at Best Buy. CMC2GB is there number you can look at it there.

I may save up for it but I am afraid I will need a better receiver than my Onykyo 609.

The HTM61 has a reputation for exactly what you are experiencing. Best bet would be to use a 685 or 686 (vertically) as center.

If it won't fit below the TV they make shelves that clamp onto the top of the flatscreen that can support up to 40 pounds or so. Just put it up on top and angle it down to the listening position.

The 683s sound great so keep them if you can.
