first of all here are my specs. Asus A7n266 onboard geforce 2 onboard sound. when i try to use my logitech z540 speakers it will only pay out of 2 speakers. it used to work and one day stopped. i tried reinstalling the drivers for the sound card. is it the speakers or the sound card
 
the a7n266.... does that have NForce 2? If so when you reinstall Soundstorm setup and re-confiugre the ports on your onboard sound to be whatever you want... for instance the mic port can be subwoofer control... the line-in can be line-out... you get the idea
 
aaaaah.... so it isn't onboard audio, or is it? So it isn't the NForce 2 Chipset on the board?
