Speakers crackle due to IE

I have an SB Live MP3 and an Iiyama 20" monitor. When I open a new page or scroll, my speakers crackle. I downloaded the newest drivers for both, but it still does it. Is there anyway to fix this?

what's the rest of your system?
sounds like an sblive issue to me (mine stutters when i open the cddrives...DOH!)
do a search for all the sblive/creative issue threads on here and other forums
i'm getting a hercules fortissimo 2 as soon as i can scrape together $40 to spare for it(stupid expensive summer classes thatalso have kept me from getting a job 🙁 )
post your full system specs, i very much doubt you monitor is causing the problem

Yeah I wasn't really thinking when I posted.

ABIT KT7-RAID
AMD Thunderbird 1ghz
Voodoo5 - most likely culprit, I downloaded new drivers today which didn't help
SB Live MP3
Linksys LNE100TX
Hauppage WinTV
Buslink USB 2.0 card
Pioneer DVD
TDK CDRW
Seagate HD
IBM HD

Win2000 - I installed the 4in1 about a month ago when I was having USB problems. I recently changed speakers from a mini stereo to dedicated computer speakers. I haven't changed any hardware...could this be a cable problem? I suppose I can't really know without buying another cable.

1. Readjust the cdrom IDE cable.
2. Readjust the Hard drive IDE cable.
3. Readjust the sound cable that goes from the cdrom to the sound card.

I am guessing it's noise or crosstalk between the cables.

if those don't work:

4. New Via-4-in-ones
5. Flash BIOS

It could be the sound blaster problem. It happens often on VIA systems and not as often on intel systems but still is a SB problem.
