Okay, recently, I've just bought a Sennheiser MX560 headset for my new MP3 player. But when I started to listen to my songs with it, I discover that my desktop speaker is missing a lot of tones in the midrage section, so I'm planning to replace it.

I'm looking for a cheap ~$50 speaker that should have a good balance of low/mid/high tone. It doesn't need to have a very loud volume / "booming" bass, as long as the overall sounds quality is good and there's "nothing missing" from the music.

I've recently have some interest to a Logitech S220 due to their popularity on newegg but still quite confused.

My previous speaker is a SonicGear Tattoo C303 which I bought it only for $12 or so.

Oh, and since I don't live in the US, please suggest an international brand :)

Many thanks before!

mcintosh?

:p LOL

look for a pair of used speakers from local classified listings. I just got rid of a nice pair of early '80s Infinity 2-ways for $10 on Craigslist (local trading site). Not sure what to tell you about the power amp. I have used a car power amp with a spare ATX PSU (to supply 15.3v) before.
