Neither one in my opinion. Go with Klipsch, Logitech, or Harmon Kardon :)

I agree, and I would also suggest you stay away from Tiger Direct. They usually sell refurb/damaged stuff, and generally don't have high quality products.

Those speakers aren't even THX certified. Granted, THX doesn't mean a lot, but it's more than nothing. When you go with Logitech or Klipsch you know you're getting a high quality product that is backed with good customer support.

But to answer your question. Go with the ones with the higher model number. It means something was changed, and they usually don't change things to make them crappier.

RWTI Cintre RW-6580D (I guess these are 55 better than the other ones?)

Not saying those are or are not a good choice, but I'd definitely recommend visiting a store if you can get there to listen to those and some of the other speaker systems they have on display. Systems in that price range can vary a lot in sound quality/characteristics so depending on what you're using them for you may favor one over another, or maybe even want to look upmarket.

I also found 3DSoundSurge very helpful when I was looking for speakers a couple years ago. The reveiws don't seem to be getting updated anymore unfortunately (they were very "thorough") but the forum appears to be alive and well. That might be an alternative source of opinions and options if you're interested.
