Speaker Out to Line Out

So theres this music single I want thats only available on a 12" Record Or Vinyl and I (I bet theres a CD Out there I just can't source one) but anyway I have a all in one digital tuner cassette tape, and Record Player and all it has is speaker out is there any way to convert these to line outs? (I know i can probably get a record player at the Goodwill but I know mine works and anyway if it does not work I'm out what ever I paid for it). or can I just connect the speaker out to my sound card? my sound card is a Chaintech AV-710 Thanks

Your all-in-one unit has a built-in amp? If so, I would not connect the speaker-out to your line-in.

Probably a ceramic cart too! Ugh!

See if you can pick up a turntable with a moving magnet cart and a cheap preamp that outputs to phono (RCA) jacks that you can plug directly into your PC. It will sound a LOT better.

That would be a big negatory. You'd want to run it through a DI box or something first.

Or, if you have a circuit schematic, you can hook up your own line-out. If I'm guessing your technical expertise level correctly, I don't recommend this route.

All in ones have horrible tracking and are record shredders. You will do more damage with ONE play to that disc than 25 plays on a decent table.

No matter what kind of preamp you put together it's not going to sound that good. No wonder so many people say cd's sound better than turntables. :|

Of course there's more to THAT topic but I'll leave it at THAT.

I'll then try goodwill to see what they have in way of record Players I know the last time I was there they had a couple of stand alone ones that did not have a preamp though. But I would need to hook it up to the Phono line in on my receiver and then hook the tape out/Rec Out to my soundcard.
