Speaker Noise Problem

I was playing a game on my pc, sound working perfectly, when all of a sudden a strange rumbling, wind-like noise started coming from my sub. I tried everything to get it to stop, but nothing seems to work. I have no idea what it could possibly be!

After this happened, I tried playing music, with bass, and everything seemed to be working fine, except for this irritating noise still coming out of my sub.

Is there anybody who could please help me?? Please please please!

I don't know what to do...

Thanks!😕

Sounds like its either a blown sub, or interference. Move any and all wireless devices away from the sub/speakers. Cellphones, wireless routers, laptops, tablets, etc. Also unplug and replug in the cables to the sub, and give em a good snug spinning in the socket to rule out any light corrosion on the plugs.

Does the sound go away after unplugging the speakers from your PC? If not, then problem with the sub (speaker itself, or the amp, or the cabling). If so, then maybe something with the PC. Have you tried rebooting? I've seen web page pop-under ads that played noises.

Thanks guys, I will try unplugging everything and all that and see if it does anything.

I tried rebooting, but the sub makes that noise even with the pc switched off. I really hope I can fix it!

I had something similar where our cordless phone was on the same desk as my speaker and caused cyclic buzzing noise. It seems weird that it was working fine..and then just started. I maybe lean to a failed sub if no new equipment has entered the room or has moved from the time that the problem started.
