Speaker location question.....

Simple questions have simple answers.....

Where do they sound the best?

If it were me, I'd almost want to put them on the wall.

BTW, nice lookin house from that bit of a pic.
 
wow, that is one clear picture on that tv. nice!

as for the speakers, why don't you just test it yourself? I mean put it lower, play a movie, put it back, play a movie, and decide which sounds better.

You probably won't hear any difference.

Thats kinda what i was assuming (not much difference). Guess i'll give it a try...

btw, thats not even showing HD, its just the local news in digital 🙂
 
They look good where they are now...if it weren't for the location, I would even try moving them out more. You need a little distance in order to allow for proper separation and the height seems more ear-level on the stands than on the TV stand.

Your correct, when they are placed down on the tv stand, its a few inches below ear level. At the height right now, they are ear level.
 
I didn't notice a big diff in sound moving them down to the stand (in fact, no difference at all IMO).

Think im gonna keep them on there, never really liked the look of the stands next to the tv since i got it...
