Speaker Help! Sound difference between 35-22,000 Hz to 50-20,000 Hz?

How much sound difference is there between 35 - 22,000 Hz and 50 - 20,000 Hz?

This is on a set of 2 way speakers. How much difference between highs and lows?
I already have tweeters so I guess the highs aren't that important.

You will have a fuller sound with the 35-22,000. You can't hear above 20,000hz anyway.

Tweeters are for highs, not lows. Given the 2, the 35 - 22,000 should sound better, but stats are often bogus. It would be better if you posted the speakers.

Well, the speakers are for a Lexus ES 300 ' 95 model.

I just want some good speakers that sound nice. I can't have any subwoofers in this car because I carry computer equipment in the trunk for work and I can't have large magnets messing with anything.

For the back speakers, I have this and these options
For the front speakers, I have these and these.

Your best bet is to augment the LF range with a subwoofer

dude, the links you posted don't take you to a product. But I have a friend with an ES so I know Infinity will be one of like 2 choices for your rears, and you have many choices for the fronts. Which do you like?

For the rear, the Infinity Cappa 692.5i
For the front, the Rockford Fosgate FRC3206U, Polk EX365, Cerwin Vega HED-162, or Alpine SPS-1629s, in no particular order.

Also, would I require another amp to power these? I'm using the factory lexus radio, which I have no idea how powerful it is.

I would say yeah as I think stock systems such in most cars, but it would depend on your wallet. It also depends on the system you have in your ES. As I recall, one of the systems that come with it make adding amps a pain. Call Cruchfield and they will tell you. I would also sugest you try to stay with the same brand with both the fronts & rears, so that the soundstage sounds more natural. Try to hear them before you buy so you can get an idea of what I mean. You may find better prices if you shop local too.

make sure the freqency response is within +- 3dB. I've seen some moron speaker manufacturers claim a freq. response of 10 - 50000hz but their +- 3dB was more like 50 - 20000hz.
The biggest difference between the 35 - 22,000 and the 50 - 20000 is that you will notice more bass with the 35. However, if the speaker is not big enough it will distort playing this bass at even medium volume. Either way you should have a sub for good bass and a crossover on the speakers so they can play louder without distorting 🙂

You don't have to get an amp, but an amp will protect your speakers if you like to play it loud. The stock amp might distort at those volumes and distortion will eventually blow the speakers.
