Hey I was thinking about upgrading my speakers for PC. I currently have a set of Altec ACS56's which still sound good. I was wondering what do I need to hook them up to my TV? I thought they would go good with it since I have no surround sound or receiver. I don't watch movies much I was just wanting to hook them up for music(MTV,VH1,ect)

I am not an audiophille but perhaps I can say something :)

If your TV has a line-out, then you can do that. Some older TV doesn't have one. If your TV support stereo, that is what you get.
For surround system, you'll need a receiver that support it.

ACS56 would be GREAT comparing to TV speaker. Have fun.

Yeah it has a left and right audio out. I can go to my menu and choose stereo on/off/expanded but not sure what I need to do there. I hooked a jack from the TV out to the digital in on the sub with no luck.

Anyone know how to hook this up? Yeah they would be a huge upgrade compared to the TV speakers.
