I'm on a limited budget and want to get a 5.1 speaker system for my pc here. I've got 2 that I'm looking at. Could I get comments from you guys on the plus and minus' of these 2 speaker systems?

Altec Lansing 5.1 Speaker System (6-Piece)

I'd recommend Creative based on sound clarity.

Btw, why don't you check out the digital Yamaha's for $70 AR at amazon? (comes with a DD/DTS decoder for X-box happiness)
 
I listened to both the Creative and Altec systems. The Altec sounded much clearer with less distortion than the Creative. Of course these were sitting on the shelves of the local best buy so who knows what kind of abuse they have gotten. I'd like to find the Yamaha system and listen to it.. It looks like a really good system though..
