Season 2 begins! First episode was awesome. I like the direction its headed.

The new Sparticus looks just like the old... RIP Andy Whitfield.
 
He doesnt appear as muscular - seriously - where is my beefcake?

Favourite orgy scene? That would be the strap-on scene. Those romans know how to party!

Really? I don't think they look all that much alike. Or maybe rather that the differences are pretty obvious to me. Big shoes to fill, but I also thought the new guy showed promise.

Will Netflix be carrying the new season like they did the past 2? They used to have the new episodes available only one day after they aired on Starz.

I guess I will find out soon.
 
I only found this thread because I was searching for the exact tag. 😀

Good first episode, looks like more of the same, which is a good thing. Just mindless, dumb entertainment.
 
the new actor looks like a fuckin child!

they claim to have searched high and low for the right guy and they pick a douchebag with no acting experience, voice as strong as a girls, and physically weaker than any other person on the show....

Yea, not sure I like the new guy either. He has big shoes to fill though. I almost feel like they should have just "killed him off" in the off season and started the story after that with Kriksis (sp?)

For one thing Star Trek is not based on real life. And secondly, Star Trek's alternate time line was due to tampering of time itself which isn't something they can work with in Spartacus.


That said, they could have played it off like Inglorious Bastards. 😛
