Hey I am at the "test for free day approval" step, the final step...

I may get something if this ever goes through!!!

Maybe... I am still not sure how the whole Paypal secure process will go through with their bogged down servers.

As per the cart thing, I had my cart picked out over a month ago. :)

Wtf, sounds like a scam to charge your card for something you don't want, lol.

Wow, that's a change...maybe others will finally have a chance once in a while.

Yeah, they put a link to the real BoC in the description. Of course, now the bots will open whatever link is in the description and try to order on that page.

Wow.. Got to the absolute last page, submit on order, CC entered, shipping selected and WHAM timeout. (well timeout on every page repeatedly but I did manage to get there) and no free stuff.

Happened to me for the past hour too, my friend had the same problem as well, we were just sitting there clicking confirm, but ... yeah.

Oh well, it was fun thinking of what I would do with that stuff anyways. :hmm:

After this disaster, I'm going to shop at http://www.futurlec.com/ first if I need this type of stuff.

http://www.futurlec.com/

That's right:

http://www.futurlec.com/

they pack the shit out of stuff I order. I ordered one 1W warm white LED and it was on anti static foam in a black antistatic box (with spaces for ~20+ LEDs ) sealed in a silver antistatic bag. oh and that bag was inside a double corrugated box.

other places to get stuff:
http://www.digikey.com
http://www.goldmine-elec.com
http://www.allelectronics.com
http://www.bgmicro.com

I've also had a good experience from http://www.makershed.com/ They occasionally have decent coupons that make the price a little better than SparkFun on Arduino stuff.

Lame, I thought I made it to the site and then I saw the banner. Hah, all $100k given away.

I might as well buy an Arduino sometime soon; is this the best place to grab one?

$29 for the Arduino 2009 (which is USB interface with a number of digitals, analogs, and serial) $49 for the ethernet on top of that. The above linked sites are just a bit more.

Didn't get my logic analyzer :'( only made it to the shipping selection pages a few times, not a single page load worked without several minutes of F5...
