Well,I live in India and I'm unable to find any classes for spanish. Books are damn expensive and my parents won't allow me to waste money ...

I WANNA LEARN SPANISH 🙁( I LOVE DADDY YANKEE"S songs and all other reggaton songs !!!

Is there a way I can learn to understand spanish !! It's just enough if I can understand it !!

Any online sites .. ??

no mames.

eres encapuchado? jajajaja

en serio, puedes aprender espanol rapido con rosetta stone o puedes hablar con amigos son mexicanos

This is truly a question whose answer is that Google is your friend.

I wanted to brush up on my spanish so i took a class at comm. college, but it wasn't enough. If you just google Free online spanish lessons, you will come up with hundreds of websites at all different levels from beginner to advanced. You can find online lessons with quizzes/tests; puzzles; download free mp3s to listen on your ipod; videos; podcasts; etc.

All my links are on my other computer, but you can start here:
Foreign language resources for teachers
and here:
www.coffeebreakspanish.com/

Look in itunes for podcasts.

Go to your public library - they may have the courses on CD/DVD like Rosetta Stone and Berlitz and Pimsleur.

Also, throughout the year, the various computer stores which have free software giveaways-with-rebate will almost always have a language course as one of the freebies.

Tell your parents that learning a language is never a waste of money. You will need to enrol in classes: it is impossible to learn a language exclusively via the Internet. If you have any linguistic queries, post them here and I'll try to answer them.

Buena suerte

but he wants to learn it because he listens to rap music sung in spanish...not exactly the best reason.

I'm a native Spanish speaker and I don't understand many of the lyrics of Reggaeton songs. They use very crude Spanish slang, which is only used in the Caribbean islands where Spanish is the main language.

WTF man? reggaeton is the worst music abomination ever created, that's the wrong reason for wanting to learn spanish, though if you do learn it something good will come out of it.

As I told my Spanish 101 professor last summer, "Me no habla mucho."

For some reason...she didn't think that was at all funny.

Probably because what you said makes no sense 😛
unless of course you were being sarcastic

LoL @ daddy yankee. I had a friend during college who LOVED reggaeton. I remember the stations 100.7 y 105.7. La Calle. REGGAETON Y MAS. I had those songs stuck in my head for a while ><

ME? Sarcastic????

OK, I'll 'splain it to you...

I am in full awareness that "Me no habla mucho" is horrible Spanish grammar.

I intentionally say it that way to make a point.

OK? Got it?

Don't bother, ATOT don't get sarcasm.

Rosetta Stone will give you a decent, informal understanding of the language in a few months (if you can dedicate about 40 minutes a day or so). You can supplement that with a Google Translate (dictionary) and a Spanish grammar website (http://www.studyspanish.com/tutorial.htm).

Since you don't have any money to spend, just hit up torrents (or you local friendly pirate-cd dealer).
