[14:53] lordthing: u huh...and spam, eh?

I was dumb enough to go to the site. Yahoo asked me to log in, which i thought was weird, but I did anyway. After I logged in, it redirected me here:

strangestranger.homestead.com/~site/Scripts_ElementMailer/ElementMailer.dll

And gave me a confirmation that my information had been submitted. So, i guess I just signed myself up to spam....

Let this be a warning to anyone else if this site is given out...

Sigh

IF you "signed in" with your yahoo id and password, I'm betting you gave them your yahoo login and password info, not signed yourself up for spam. I'd change your yahoo login info if I were you...

Yeah, wouldnt be surprised...fun fun

Well, i think it's too late. Already seems my password was reset or changed. I was able to tell it to send the reset password to me, but it didnt drop into my normal accounts. So, there is a possibility that they changed that too. Weird thing is my yahoo mail still works.

Again, warning to anyone else. Pisses me off. I have had this account for years many years....sigh.

Yes, but unfortunaly you have already passed the point at which they were helpful. You can *try* to contact his ISP and/or Yahoo, but since this isn't a paid account they have no way to verify your claim.
