ARGH!! :|

my never get spammed email is now officially full of f--king spam.

to bad I didnt get to meet the hurtin' SOB's that do this sh|t, or i'd shove a fistful of razorblades and rocksalt up their ass.

anyways, outlook doesnt seem to have much in the way of blocking capability. (oddly enough, I think outlook express did..)

any good (free hopefully) email apps that allow you to block? (a plus if it minimizes to the system tray..)

thanks

Outlook Express doesn't have blocking capabilities. The only difference between Outlook Express and Outlook is the calendar, journal, notes, and tasks.

Outlook Express DOES have blocking capabilities...
Yuo block the sender, and if they send you under a new email address but the same domain name, create a rule to send all messages from x domain to the delete bin.
Empty delete folder on exit, and always gone by the time you open it back up :)

as nice as the filtering feature is, it doesn't work on web-based email.

Outlook does have filtering for adult material. It's near the bottom of the scrolling list of filter options. I don't know how well it works, but it's there. I think there was one for advertising too.

I personally like OE better than Outlook. It's a much cleaner and easy interface. They seem similar, but they aren't, not in many ways that count.

haha, well in the eula it says something about being 13+ y/o i think.

i dont get too much ICQ spam, but Ive realised EVERY time i set up another account or someone else sets up an account, you get porn spam from this lame bot. soooo lame. example:

<start>
bot: hey there :)
me: f--k you bot!
bot: like this page of me? ive got pics :-D www.whatever.link.com
me: die bot die
me: i said eat sh|t you crook!
<end>

youve got to be pretty damn hurtin' to fall for that stuff.
