Delist my name-acc-email address from this site.
Since joining this site l have received over 200 junk/spam msgs to my email acc.
The ONLY place that trash could come from is here. l dont appreciate this one bit. Have had this address 3YRS and never gotten ANY unsolicited emails in it before. Thats what l get for trusting you people

Not a chance of that happening. Whatever was happening with your yahoo account was long before you joined

If this ever occured we would have heard about it from the members.

We don't delete accounts

Stupid is as stupid does. I have been here years ( June 2005 ) and never receive spam. It must be you. You know you can set your email address as unreadable right?

For what it's worth, Red, I have had my work email listed as a contact at this site for over 10 years now and I've never received significant levels of spam - maybe my company is blocking the spam for me but I've personally never had problems.

I moved the thread from Gadgets, Gear and Phones to the Personal Forum Issues area.

Which admin? Anandtech, ISP, Browser, online software? Sorry you're having spam issues but, there are many more possibilities than you think and, the timing could very well be coincidental. Particularly, when none of the other thousands of users here have complained of it.

Especially since I would guess a large majority being tech savvy run with dedicated emails for certain sites to track where the email is coming from.
