I'm a needin a spam blocker that really works . I am getting way to much worthless email, and need a good prg. that works. As always your help is greatly app.

I bought a license for Mailwasher and it never did work for me. It always let through more than half my spam. I use a program now called Spamnix for Eudora. It uses the Spam Assasin engine, so it's very efficient and dead on.

Macaffee (sp?) SpamKiller isn't bad either.

I use SAProxy - A POP3 proxy based on Spam Assassin. As long as you're using a POP3 account for your e-mail, it should work well for you.

I've been using popfile (popfile.sourceforge.net). Takes about 100 mails to "train" it, but now it whacks 98% of my spam. Work on windows, and it's free.

If you're running linux, check out Active Spam Killer (www.paganini.net/ask) - I use this at work and it blocks 100% of all spams, with no false positives. It's also free.
