So how do you like it?
I like Hamburger meat in mine. Doesnt matter if it is to go ontop a noodle or in Lasagna. I cannot stant Italian Sausage in mine.
And it has to have onions at the very least. A perfect one would have that, green pepers, tomatoes, and mushrooms.

I"m the same way. HAS to be hamburger. I can sometimes stand the italian sausage, but I won't even touch spaghetti sauce without meat.

If I'm making a bit pot 'o sauce, I simmer down beef short ribs in mine, then add cooked sweet sausage and homemade meatballs (pork/veal/beef).

I usually add hot italian sausage. It really brings it to life! Other times, I'll leave it meatless and instead apply an assortment of seasonings to the sauce and it comes out excellent that way too.

I prefer it to have some kind of dead animal in it. Hamburger, sausage, ground turkey, meatballs, etc.

SHRIMP????
Sure, shrimp fra diavolo.

Generally more of a deconstructed sauce than what most consider "spaghetti sauce," but a tomato sauce with shrimp and spaghetti nonetheless.

I refuse to eat spaghetti sauce without plenty of hamburger. Mix it with plenty of parmesan cheese and stuff it into a french roll and you have one of the most delicious meals ever made.
