There were 2 or 3 issues with large articles about it in some PC gamer mags. Sounds like another pretty good game from him. Will have to try and d/l it this weekend.

downloading it now. Should be done in 2 freaking hours. I blame the Chinese for spying on our intrawebs.

Everything (intro, menu screens, etc) looks okay until I get in the actual game. It looks like it's artifacting severely - giant, multi-colored triangles with seizure-inducing flashes of light. I tried setting everything to low, restarted the game several times, rebooted... nothing worked. I don't see my video card (X1950XT) being the problem as I haven't had any issues in the past, and I just got done with a few rounds of TF2 and a skirmish in Company of Heroes.

No one else is experiencing this?

Just finished playing the demo.
It looks like it could be a fun game. The controls take a bit to get used to. Not sure how I like the point to click move system. Camera control is a bit cumbersome when you are under attack from multiple directions.
If your looking for something new, it is not here. The graphics look good and I enjoyed what I did play of it. The demo is a bit short to get the full idea of how all the stats will interact, but overall I think I probably will buy it if the price is right.

Just finished it. Lots of fun, though I agree, it took me a while to get used to the controls. By the end though I was moving along really well.

The upgrades look like they could be fun/useful and there seems to be some sort of tech tree for ability upgrades (didn't get any in the demo).

Weapons and special tactics were pretty cool, though I would definitely have to do some work on the key binding in order to use them in an effective and timely manner.

Graphics are just average, but that's not what this type of game is about.

I'd really like to see what they do with multiplayer, but it's not available in the demo unfortunately.

I can see myself buying this for around $30-$35.

just finished the demo. movement system is a bit tricky, as modelworks said. i think it has some potential though. i liked the upgrade system, and the idea of becoming cybernetic vs staying human (can i just be JC Denton and call it a day? :D) definitely worth a look again when it comes out!

I don't know if I'll pay full retail for it, but it looks like it might be a great buy once it hits the bargain bins.

Controls were probably made for the XBOX 360. If it's a game for windows game, then it definitely works with XBOX 360 controller plugged into your pc.

anyone played Dungeon Siege II and can say how similar these are?

i really liked DSII (even though it was too easy, and the map tells you where the secrets are!) so im definately exceited about this one.

BTW...DSII was a revamped NWN1 engine right? so does Space Siege look anything like NWN2? :)

Its like the DSII engine a bit, The demo lacks but I will get it.
From what I see and hear its not party orginized though a sidekick/F'n-Pet shows up later (God I hate pets).
Heres the lamens, Its Halo on DSII engine, Alien Shooter style with syndacate body mods (Come on, Tell me that doesnt hit the nail on the head)

Only downfalls so far are,,,, Key remap not so good, Its like Halo inventory not DSII, and the worst downfall is you dont get to design your own looks, I know my little girl wont play it long since she doesnt like to be "Dude as she says and alot of guys like to play the ever hot combat vixen.

I played the demo few days ago on Vista x64 (very short demo) but it gives you the general gameplay etc...I'll probably buy it when the price drops.

I remember from the articles the whole do you stay human or go cyborg was supposed to be a big part of the game; to the point of affecting gameplay and possibly story outcome.
